BAD British Association of Dermatology SECC Glasgow

July 6th to 9th was a very busy week for the sales team at the BAD in Glasgow. We had two stands, one focused on skin imaging and the early detection of skin cancer, the other focused on surgery. The levels of interest were very high and the direct orders taken from the stands were the best we have ever had for a BAD event. This resulted in the invaluable support crew back at HQ being busy processing the orders!
It was nice that so many of Schuco’s friends, old and new, came onto the stand to discuss further opportunities.
We were supported at the show by one of our major partners, MAVIG GmbH, the European experts in Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy who provided the demonstration of the VivaScope 1500 machine, which is only available in the UK from Schuco. It basically produces ‘real-time in-vivo biopsies’ which removes the need for many unnecessary biopsies and facilitates a faster process for Mohs surgery.
