At Schuco, we have been busy buzzing about at many local and national events, launching a new skin imaging product range in the UK, and growing our Schuco family by welcoming new staff members.

BAD 2019
Back in July, we were once again delighted to attend the 99th British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) meeting, picking up wisdom from the likes of Chris Miller, Jie Zheng and Craig Sinclair with fascinating lectures on ‘Psoriasis Relapse’, ‘Skin Cancer Prevention’ & ‘Therapeutic relevance of newly discovered skin immune cells’.

It was at BAD that we showcased our exciting new Horus skin imaging system. Horus offers Videodermoscopy, Videocapillaroscopy and Videotrichoscopy with integrated total-body mapping and sequential dermoscopy by utilising the latest innovative technology. Horus delivers the best image quality for clear and accurate clinical diagnosis.

Schuco Across the UK
We also continue to attend and support many local events held in NHS hospitals, including the Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospitals in August. Here we had the opportunity to chat with and educate many aspiring dermatology doctors on the DermLite Dermatoscopes – the highest quality, most user-friendly dermatoscopes in dermoscopy.

In October, we attended an eye-opening skin cancer teach and treat session at the Leigh Infirmary as well as the BAD Teledermatology Skills and Practice workshop. Here we got the chance to get a greater understanding of what more we can do support healthcare professionals in dermatology.

November has also proved to be another busy month for our Account Managers which has seen them attend four more events across the UK. They have greatly enjoyed the chance share the Schuco story, showcase our product portfolio and interact and learn from many healthcare professions from the world of dermatology.

Growing the Schuco Family
In these last few months we have expanded our family by welcoming 4 new staff members, who have settled in their roles well and are already making lots of headway. We look forward to seeing them continue to grow.

We have lots planned in the next couple months and for 2020 so be sure to keep up to date with us by signing up to our newsletter here.
